Hi Spring training. It's so nice to see you again. Just some general comments about what's happening in Lakeland, Jason Beck reports on all.
Joey Eischen:
His numbers look really nice, the Tigers even talked to him as they made their post season run last year. They wanted him back. I'm interested to know why he isn't on the 40 man. He's a left handed bullpen arm. Something we need. He's been rehabbing his arm and should be good to go in his quest for a spot on the team.
Marcus Thames:
Is going to get a crack at first base, at least in spring training. The Tigers are trying to get the most out him as they can. With the outfield locked up barring any injuries (Knock on wood) he's a left fielder and could make for decent trade bait if that was needed.
Carlos Guillen:
He wants to be a Tiger. He's going to cost a lot to resign. I don't think money is an issue for the Tigers. A better question are his knees, how will they hold up? Will Alex Rodriguez be an option to play shortstop again in his career?
